World Heritage Sites in Zimbabwe

I don't want to say goodbye to these weeks with bad news or immages from Zimbabwe, so again I was searching the positive way and information about this far away country.

At the beginig of this presentation you'll find general information about an amazing World Heritage Site calle "Great Zimbambwe". You can take notes about the meaning of the name of the countryk, the age of discovery of this stone site, the names of the explorers and more!!!

In second place you'll have many pictures of the landscapes of Great Zimbambwe. Remember. "from the glance, the love begins".

After the "walk" around the focus place,you'll have more dinity touristic places like: Khami, Mana Pool's and Matobo.

Female representation in Zimbabwe

I was thinking about our last dialogue community, and i thought that we haven't talken about the role of women in Zimbabwe.
Searching for the information, I was surprised by 4 areas that I'll share with you trhough the slides:
1) women work for political participation,
2) promotion of domestic harmony,
3)dignity campain,
4)women in political elections last year.

With the next online presentation you'll have 4 important question to yourselves. You must think what would be happening in Zimbambwe with the female representation in very important areas, what are the differences and the simmilary ways in our own contry: Mexico.

I was shocked by the Zimbabwean blog where a woman wrote a very represive experience about dignity. I'm still angry against this situation because I'm woman and also because like human being this is a terrible act!!!

After you see this ppt, I would like to know what's your own reflection and critical thinking about both feminist political education project and dignity campaing for women in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe education context

Hi everyone!!!
When I was searching the information about this topic and after that search I got what I was looking for I discovered a unliked stage about it. Can you immagine that?
No?
You will see the presentation that explain so good the real situation in Zimbabwe about education but I want to share my own point of view. And after you see the slides comment to me your impressions.
I was surprissed when I knew that in Zimbabwe only exist primary and secondary school and that the development of their education depends of the division of the minister, but they don't have the tools to do that. So the teachers are abroad to be instructed and after they return.
I think this both information in addition with the statistics are the most impress facts to me talking about this topic. What do you think?

Presentattion Zimbabwe local Government

Take a look to the presentation and you'll discover some simmilar things with our own mexican government like: the division of the power althaugh they have more interesting roles for the Governor than us.

Another thing that impact myself was the "monopolio" that they practice (please read the slide that talks about the public works and you'll be surprised)

Finally take a look or the last slide because there's a short country information that it's important to understand -or to try it- the development about this young Zimbabwe.

Take it easy, we have already comment about it in our classe, but a second try it's good to put enphasis in an especific poit.
